Why We Built This Site
Georgia generally begins from public access to court records, but finding the correct custodian can be difficult. Floyd County Superior Court in the Rome Judicial Circuit hears felony matters and broad civil cases. Its clerk maintains the docket, pleadings, orders, and judgments. Other Floyd County courts have separate clerks and systems, and the state E-Access directory routes users to individual providers rather than one open statewide database. Only the court or clerk that maintains a case can provide its official docket or certified record. In Superior Court matters, that source is the Floyd Superior Court Clerk.
